Iomart was founded in 1998 by Angus MacSween. Initially established as one of the early broadband providers in the United Kingdom, the company later transitioned its focus toward cloud services. In 2024, Iomart acquired Atech Support. Following the acquisition, the two entities began operating under the Atech name.
