YTL Corporation Berhad is a Malaysian multinational corporation involved predominantly in the construction of infrastructure which was founded by Yeoh Tiong Lay in 1955. It developed into a large conglomerate with presence on the Bursa Malaysia, the FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI, a principal benchmark index of thirty companies, the MSCI Malaysia Index and on the Prime Market Foreign Stocks Segment of the Tokyo Stock Exchange, where, in 1996, it became the first non-Japanese Asian company to be listed.
